Knowing and living your life’s highest purpose I believe is the true essence of being human and divine. As many of you who know me are aware, my intense focus on life purpose is what fuels me. It is only when we come to find the gem of purpose within that life suddenly becomes meaningful and focused.
What if your true worth was measured not in what you accomplish or how well you are known, but simply in what you have given? Life itself is a gift that has been granted you. I believe it is our highest purpose to give it back. And the best gift we can give is love. When we offer the gift of love, we are operating in our life’s purpose. The true measure then of your worth is in how much you have given love. It’s as simple as that.
Love is a gift that is perpetual and eternal. It comes from a well that never runs dry. The Scripture describes an experience when Jesus is with the woman at the well and offers her an unlimited supply of life-giving water. That water is love, and it is the well of love that quenches our thirst forever and leaves us fulfilled. It’s beyond the daily rat-race of jobs and chores. Love transcends all other expressions. We all like receiving gifts. Yet at the end of the day, love is what we all seek. To love and be loved is to be valued.
Giving the gift of love starts within and with yourself. When you truly love yourself for who you are, it’s like drawing water from the well of eternal life. But it shouldn’t end there. It’s when you draw from the well and share it with others that the full measure of your worth is experienced. The story in the Scriptures isn’t of Jesus drawing water just for himself. For me, giving brings me great joy. To see the light in someone’s eyes when I gift something to them always fills me with joy. Yet at the end of the day, physical gifts come and go. What we remember the most is those moments when we exchange love with another. The key message is to draw from your well of love and share it.
The great thing about giving love is that it costs us nothing. Whether it’s a significant other, family, friends, co-workers, or a stranger on the street, we can share love. Studies have proven that even the act of sending loving thoughts towards another creates a positive impact. When you are filled with self-love and freely share that energy with others, you are transforming our world.
It’s not difficult to find places in our life that are broken. It seems at times our whole world is on the brink of some type of disaster. What would it be like if we decided to give love to others, most especially those we dislike the most or who we have rejected? We can’t change the world by focusing hate or anger on the parts and people we perceive are broken, ignorant, obnoxious, or assholes.
The only gift that has the power to transform is love. It’s easy to give love to those we agree with or find acceptable, ‘lovable’, or relatable. But if the measure of our true worth is based on what we give versus what we receive or do, then perhaps we need to reevaluate what is in our life purpose bank account. Are we drawing water from the well of eternal life, or are we pouring poison into the water?
One final point of reflection. When you give hate, disdain, anger, or negativity, you are poisoning your own well. The laws of Karma are irrefutable. What you give is in fact what you will receive in return. It is the eternal law of manifestation. So if you don’t like the taste of the water you’re drinking, perhaps it’s time to stop throwing toxins into your well.

I believe in the transformative power of human connection to elevate joy, restore balance, and support inner healing as you seek your highest purpose. My purpose in life is to be a guide, to share the wisdom of the Universe I’ve been gifted with, and to see others succeed. Nothing brings me greater joy than to see others step into their purpose in a vibrant and highly energetic way.
