The theme of the workshop by Gregg Braden and Dr. Bruce Lipton is “From Chaos to Coherence” and is focused on reflecting upon our connection with the Universe and making meaning of the chaos we experience. A key component of the program has been our connection with the stars and why having a larger perspective is essential to understanding our place and role in this great cosmic story.
It was interesting to learn that our bodies have more in common in terms of composition with stardust then the soil beneath our feet. When you reflect upon this though it begins to make sense. Most indigenous peoples (past and present) have a keen connection with the stars and for good reason. Many ancient societies had traditions and stories connecting our existence with a power beyond our earth. Native peoples today maintain these traditions passed down through stories and art. The study of the stars, their movements, and their effects on our daily lives was a significant focus of their lives. In more modern times, we find ourselves once again gazing up at the sky and asking the most profound questions related to our existence and meaning.
I reflected back on a number of Incan places from our trip to Peru last year whose sole purpose was to understand the stars. Most of us have marveled under a clear night’s sky at the Milky Way and movement of the planets. Venus as the morning and evening star, the red planet Mars, and of course the Moon have all mesmerized me and continue to even today. It’s as if our very souls are yearning to reach for these celestial beings in some deep spiritual connection knowing our own lives are connected to them in a profound way. It makes sense that our own human bodies have more in common with that higher realm than the material earth that surrounds us. It is a calling to a higher existence that often draws our attention.
When you find yourself then being drawn to the stars or feel something stir deep within when you look up, perhaps it’s simply a yearning for home. Could it be possible that just like a memory of a place in your past that often draws you back to a special feeling or moves you in some profound way, is precisely the same power at work when you look up? Could it be our spirits are simply experiencing that pull that calls us back to our roots? Maybe it’s time to see the stars not as some place far away but as a home that is closer than we think. The stardust in me and in you is simply reminding us of that profound connection with the great cosmos.
I believe in the transformative power of human connection to elevate joy, restore balance, and support inner healing as you seek your highest purpose. My purpose in life is to be a guide, to share the wisdom of the Universe I’ve been gifted with, and to see others succeed. Nothing brings me greater joy than to see others step into their purpose in a vibrant and highly energetic way.
